Archbishop Benson School in Cornwall received 50 saplings to set up their own school tree nursery in February 2019. Teacher Mike Williams has provided this update below;
With regards the tree saplings that we received, we have planted 9 in one area and a further 8 in another area of the school.
The remainder have been planted into pots at this time, as they have been set aside for planting at the end of August. They are going to form part of a long avenue of trees, once the completion of a new access path through the school grounds has been completed.
