Manorfield Primary received 50 tree saplings from ERS to help set up their own School Tree Nursery in February 2018. Teacher Holly Martin has kindly provided this feedback & photos of their tree nursery.
"The pupils at Manorfield have really enjoyed planting the trees we were sent. As the photos show, we have planted some in the wildlife beds around our greenhouse, interplanted with green manures, and some of the others have been put into deeper pots for the time being in our very own plant nursery. The plan is to plant them around the new nursery build once the building works are completed this summer. These photos were taken back in April and since then are looking much greener. We've also been able to take off the supports as they are strong enough now. We very much appreciate these trees and the added wildlife element and beauty they bring to our garden."
