Earth Restoration Project

Earth Restoration Vision

Our vision is for the peoples of the world to unite in an effort to restore the life sustaining capacity of the planet, supported by an official United Nations resolution declaring this the “Century of Restoring the Earth.”

There is a growing understanding that the greatest threat to world security is the diminishing ability of Earth to support life, caused by global warming and ecological destruction. Addressing this threat must become the major and urgent concern of all nations.

Increasing resources must be directed towards reversing the damage wrought to the basic elements of our existence, restoring the health of the world’s air, water and soil. As the century progresses, increasingly ambitious global initiatives must be launched, not just to reduce greenhouse emissions, but to restore major forests, clean up toxic waste, and green the world's cities.
