Bushloe High School, Wigton, Leicester - Mark from the Eco Club at Bushloe has taken on the role as the ERS Representative in setting up a tree nursery in their grounds. Pupils will be fully involved with planting and tending 100 native trees. The tree nursery will act as a stimulus and example for learning about the benefits of trees.
The Eco Club at Bushloe High School leads the school's environmental and sustainability work.
Sandfield Close School, Rushey Mead - Sandfield Close is a happy, welcoming multicultural school with a real sense of community. Their tree nursery is being created this year with 100 native trees, such as Ash, Wild Cherry, Oak and Rowan.
John Wycliffe Primary School, Lutterworth - the school planted 50 native trees into their newly estalished tree nursery, which will be planted out when they have reached maturity into the greater community.
