Bowbridge Primary School, Newark - The school motto ‘Learning For Life’ is very important. It sums up what they want to encourage for all the adults and children associated with the school. This includes providing training opportunities for teachers, parents and governors as well as the school curriculum for the children. We have given them 100 native trees this year to plant into their community.
Ambleside Primary School, Asplem, Nottingham - a tree nursery of 200 native trees was established in this school in November 2008. The majority of saplings were willows, to use as structural outdoor classrooms and to plant near water.
