Trees for Life
Trees for Life is a Scottish charity based on the Moray Firth coast in the northeast of Scotland. Launched in 1981 it was named UK Conservation Charity of the year in 1991. It is an independent charity specifically dedicated to the regeneration of Scotland's natural forests, with the primary goal of regenerating and restoring the native Caledonian Forest to a large contiguous area in the Scottish Highlands. To date Trees for Life staff and volunteers have planted almost half a million Scots pines and native broadleaved trees, and protected over 150,000 naturally regenerating Scots pine seedlings and other native trees from overgrazing by fences, which it has funded.

Stop Climate Chaos believes that civil society organisations - environment and development groups, faith groups, humanitarian organisations, women’s groups, trade unions and many others - are in a unique position to mobilise public concern, and through this the necessary political action, to stop climate chaos. By working together in a diverse, broad-based coalition they believe we can deliver results that none of us can achieve alone. Nothing on this scale has been attempted before on climate change, but anything less is unlikely to be successful. ERS is a campaign member. More information go to:
