Earth Restoration Project

Somerset

East Coker Primary School, Somerset - in October 2008, the children aged from 4 to 11 yrs planted 50 native trees and the local MP David Laws came to visit and said "this work is incredibly important".  In February 2009, the saplings having reached maturity, were planted out at the Magdalen Project in Chard, a 130 acre area of conservation and permaculture.   New trees have been planted in March 2009 to replenish East Coker School's tree nursery, with the endangered Wild Service tree.
