ERS needs you!

These following appeals aims to raise funds - all of them have a direct local involvement and have been designed to produce maximum results.  At this time, consider to help us directly, without your support we will not be able to carry out this important work.

The following appeals are:

The Malawi Programme - aims to plant 4 million trees

Ecuadorian School Tree Nursery - education and restoration of the Andean cloud forest

School Tree Nursery, UK - help us to educate and replant in degraded areas around the UK

Tibetan Restoration Programme - replant the deforested (and new) areas, to protect existing tree plantations and to guard and nurture the wildlife of the forests with the help of the local people.

New life to the Sahel - A hundred years ago, the Sahel was covered with a lush and bushy savanna. The widespread use of bushfire to make place for cotton and peanut plantations has devastated the ground.  It still rains enough for the indigenous plants to survive, 600 mm yearly, and buried in the soil, numerous seeds and roots are hoping for better days.

Restoration India -  Our partner Food for Life Vrindavan is a humanitarian association officially recognized by the Indian government. For the last ten years, Food for Life Vrindavan has worked in the poorest villages in the Vrindavan area (120 Km south of New Delhi).   Food for Life's environment project, aims at conserving and developing the natural environment and heritage in one of India's historic and holy lands.
